When a mod gives a warning posters are supposed to PM the mod rather than argue in the thread.
What happens when they don't respond?
Should they be obliged to respond after giving warnings?

If a poster is replying on thread after a warning, report the post for the mods to deal with.

If they haven't responded in a reasonable amount of time (say 24 hours or so), contact one of the other mods or a CMOD.

Might be easier (and more efficient) to ensure the mod in question gives at least one clarification if asked.

In a perfect world, but the mod might check reported posts, action one by issuing card/ban, then log off. They might be busy. They might be on their way out. They might be going to work. They might be doing anything.

Mods are not and cannot be expected to be online all the time. If they haven't responded within 24 hours (a reasonable timeframe), then either try them again, or contact another mod/cmod.
