    Hey all

I've set up a StreetPass group in Donegal! Can't post links here as I'm new so, uh, you can find our Facebook group by typing 'StreetPass Donegal' into the Facebook search engine

It's still very new so we don't have many members #^^#. Still it's started in good stead ; Nintendo are already aware of the group and have encouraged me to make it happen (they'd love to see the 3DS scene take off in Ireland. I feel the same). Smash Ireland are aware of us too. They seem like nice folks...

There will be events at some point (taking place in Donegal, naturally) and the FB group will be the first place these are announced. The group is also a decent place for those of you living in Ulster to chat about and arrange some online multiplayer with locals.

Personally I'm often up for some MH4U, Pokémon, Street Fighter 4, Smash 4, Animal Crossing or Theatrythm (not gonna list all my games as I'd be here forever haha) action with SPDonegal members.

Let our 3DS lights shine as green as the Donegal hills!

Sadly, there won't be a Sligo group as it's always raining there and the 3DS isn't yet waterproof!
Best of luck with the group!

Was just saying in the Wii U thread that I see Smyths in Letterkenny is having an all day Nintendo day on September 5th, so may be something to look into since they'll have a Nintendo rep there, probably with demos and maybe promotions

Hmm, interesting... I wonder if they'd be willing to help us spread the word...

I'd say any store wants to get more people in, so no harm in asking. May even give you the rep's contact info to make arrangements with them.

That would be cool! I wonder if the Nintendo reps are hired by the same promotional company that handle them here in the UK (TheStaffRoom)... If I remember I might flag this with my contact at Nintendo during the week also (don't want to bother him with these matters during the weekend hehe)

    Thanks for the tip-off!

Yeah would be a good idea to at least make that one of the meet ups.

That won't be possible, I'm afraid, as I won't be in the country on that date...

I will, however, make a post on the group wall and Twitter that this is happening... right now.
