Ryanair check in question

I booked flights to spain recently and then afterwards added an extra infant seat for my son on the same flights.

I booked him as an adult then contacted ryanair and they merged the bookings. happy days.

The thing i am now confused about is they have told me not to check in online but rather check in at the airport (free of charge). I'm not sure if i trust this. I can go online now and it is allowing me to check all of us in. Should I just go ahead and do it?

Does anyone have any experience with this?

    Thanks

You can check in at the airport no problem. There must be a reason she told you not to. If it's an infant they won't have their own seat I think and if you check in online you may take an adults seat they've to allocate.

Ryanair don't allow free check in at the airport...

Did you book a comfort seat for the infant? Checkin on line, if there's a complication and they need to amend something, at least you've checked in and will avoid any fees that are charged for not checking in.
