    Hi All,

My susi grant is "queued for final assessment" for a month or so and I have registered for my course in DIT. I have given the details of my grant application while registering for the DIT course, do I need to pay the €3000 before the course starts or can I hang on waiting for a decision from SUSI??

    Cheers

    You can hang on.

Colleges know that SUSI takes time.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

My son has been in dit for 3 years. He gets the susi grant and has never paid any money upfront. The college will know via registration that you have applied for the grant. Don't worry!
