Could they not just save all the hassle and just print fly jackets of 'Thats Life', and put them on some other book that is already not selling in the remainder bookshops ?

No apologies for spearheading the shameless destruction of a music station then ?

Get off the stage he does a great job. Brings a human touch to what once was treated like a private members radio station.

So, presenters with passion and knowledge about classical and other specialist music doing their job is akin to a 'private members radio station'
Plenty of humans on that network doing their best, despite that clown doing what he can to collapse the whole concept.
But as long as some folk get their funnies, a daily dose of Van Morrisson and plenty of bland seventies crap, Bing, Val Doonigan and the rest - all is well.

Whelan is too clever to crap on the doorstep of the only radio network RTE can shoehorn him on now.

I do commend him on recruiting listeners who actually hate the radio station he's broadcasting on! Must be a first.
