List of motor insurers in Ireland

It's a good idea. However, bear in mind the difference between Brokers and Insurers. Some insurers will only deal directly with the public, some will only deal through IBA Brokers. Other Insurers will have exclusive arrangements with one particular broker. IBA Brokers in turn could have access to 20 or more insurers, many of which you would never have heard of. Then there are the online only outlets.

It is an exhaustive list but can only help, fair play

Seriously though, the amount of brokers would do your head in.

You need to restrict it to those with exclusive schemes

Very true, I looked up the list of brokers in my town and there's about 10, so you can multiply that across the whole country. Most of them seem to do car insurance brokerage but it's in addition to other types.
