Friend of mine is travelling to the Canary Islands next month and is flying with Air Contractors, I presume its a charter flight, anyone here know what they are like or have travelled] with them. He is a bit nervous as he thought he was flying with Aer Lingus as the holiday company use Aer Lingus but he just found out its an Air Contractors flight.

Nothing to worry about, they also operate the 757's for Aer Lingus, and a significant number of aircraft on freight services for people like Fedex etc. Long established major operator, just not as well known as the passenger carriers.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

    As above
The aircraft they use is a Boeing 737-300 (EI-STA is the registration)

Depending on the metric you use they are the countries second biggest airline......

    Well ASL Aviation is.

Air Contractors will soon be no more, it's in the process of a name change to ASL Airlines Ireland.

You'll have to include the Farnairs too then: ASL Airlines Switzerland and Hungary
