    Hi All,

I have just got 2:1 arts degree and I am thinking of at some point in the future doing the graduate medical programme in UL. I never did science for the leaving cert and I am wondering is there anyone here who has done what I am thinking about doing?
Is it unusual for those from the humanities to go to medical school?
How would I pass the GAMSAT if I have no knowledge of science?

You should have posted this in the gamsat thread instead of health science

Yes, it is doable, and research shows that by 2nd year people with a non science background actually perform a little better than those with a science background in grad med

How you are going to get past the gamsat is the same way everyone else does, if you really want to be a doctor then you'll put the work in, give yourself time
