I am doing this on behalf of my sister in-law who lives in Japan and is going on honeymoon to Malaysia around the end of Sept.

The Ringgit is pretty weak at the moment but on Friday 21st at 6pm their time the government will release their reserves data.

"The Malaysian ringgit fell to a new record low against the Singapore dollar on Friday (Aug 21) as investors awaited foreign exchange reserve data for signs on how much ammunition its central bank has left to defend the currency."

What would you do, buy no or wait until data is released?
