Woodies are selling the Ryobi One Plus lawnmower for €225 : http://www.woodiesdiy.com/Product/ryobi-18v-one-lithium-cordless-lawnmower/36314/4.30

The lawnmower has 2 X 18V (4 Ah) batteries included with it - these batteries alone are £75 each on Amazon

I bought the lawnmower as I needed a handy lawnmower for mowing a section I have for my chickens (the rest of my lawns are being done by a robomow and there's no way its going into the chicken area !)
Anyhow - I hadn't mowed the grass in a couple of weeks and I got 35 minutes mowing really heavy, rich, soft, damp grass with this mower last night - It should easily do 45 or 50 minutes mowing when it's just regular short grass (which it is after the initial cut I did).
Here's a look at what it was cutting :

Also - the lawnmower has pretty good reviews online - it's WAY more expensive elsewhere - it's €644 on littlewoods and it's £400 pounds on Amazon

Anhoo... I know some people may scoff at a battery lawnmower but to get the 2 heavy duty one plus batteries that can be used on loads of other Ryobi one plus tools at this price seems good to me (and it performs well also !)

Edit - It has a 2 year warranty also, and the deck is plastic, not metal so the grass won't corrode/rust it

thanks op, picked one up at the weekend. fantastic value. had been looking at cheaper alternatives earlier in the year as this had been out of my price range, glad I waited.
