One of the great tourist attractions in London is the changing of the guard, it is very much a thing for non Londoners, one wonders why we cannot have an Irish Guard at the Castle, during the main tourist season. the Guard could come down from the barracks with a band leading playing stirring Irish melodies and perform a ceremony in front of the castle and stand guard for part of the day, would it not be unique and a great tourist attraction, just a thought, Foxy

I think it might be a bit surplus to requirements. The Castle doesn't need a whole lot more bells and whistles for tourists. It already does very well.

If they're going to invest more in the castle, a more creative, updated tour would be the way to do it. Perhaps this is where the guard could play a role.
