Looking online for a little jeb. Asking an audience of drunks and stoned people.
If anyone has anything genuine it'll be illegal and whats more we'll have forgotten about it when we get straight after the weekend.

You job hunting skills can only improve from this first attempt.

    1) Don't call it a jeb. Ever
    2) Don't photocopy a CV, print it out properly
    3) Either send it via email with a good cover letter or call in in person, dressed neatly, and drop it in with a good cover letter.
    4) Do not have a CV over 2 pages
    5) Spellcheck, spellcheck, spellcheck
    6) It is impossible to be dressed too smartly for an interview. Even if it's for stacking shelves in Tesco wear a shirt and tie.

Come back to me when your unemployed about 4 years straight, but constantly jobhunting in one way or another, and the only interviews you get are for commission only jobs and the like!

Plus youve been and done your college/s, had a job and lots of work expereince and all your looking for is a full time job paying at least minimum wage!!

    1. Grow up a bit.
    2. Present yourself better than coming across as a drunk at 4.01 in the morning. This implies no discipline with yourself, potentially an addictive personality and too risky to employ.
    3. Post in a more articulate manner on a forum more relevant to seeking work where people do genuinely make an effort to present themselves well.
    4. I don't believe you.
    5. If you are genuine you would regret your post when you wake up hungover this afternoon.

    Point? It's a little better than "128128128"

He says he is looking for work. He asked for suggestions.

Point being, your username is not appropriate appropriate in a serious, professional context.

Nothing in AH happens in a serious, professional context.

You're taking this too seriously. Just my opinion. Who knows? Maybe the OP places great store in the online opinions of someone calling themselves after a muppet.

He asked for advice, I gave it to him. Don't see what the issue is.

set yourself up as a local odd-job person op. People always have stuff they need done around the house.. painting, power washing, window cleaning. You could get busy with referrals... it would keep you going until something more substantial comes up.

I think it's borne out of the way Enda Kenny pronounces it or something like that.

If you have a lot of qualifications or you're applying for a role that needs a lot of experience then having a bigger one is grand, but in general an employer doesn't care about more than a couple of jobs back, I've found. If you send in a novel they're not going to bother reading it.

Speaking of taking things too seriously, you probably should stop fixating over a simple username. Regardless of the forum, one's username should not restrict them from passing on sound advice when need be. And since you were giving Kermit such a hard time, are you Miss Piggy by any chance?

TBH Kermit's got an impressive CV wot with all the edumacational stuff n' all

Kermit was awarded an honorary doctorate of Amphibious Letters on May 19, 1996 at Southampton College, New York, also the only amphibian to have had the honor of addressing the Oxford Union.

You could try to improve your CV by gaining qualifications.

become an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church

    :D

    Advise:

Enjoy not having a jeb, even a little jeb,

you'll soon spend 45+ years working.

This is a list of all the things you can do without money
    Breath
    Swim in a lake
Find someone to do stuff with. don't forget to say your prayers!
    Play a game of chess.
Write a book / read a book at your local library.

    That's the complete list btw.

So carpe diem or go to supermacs, its all the same really.

    :pac:
