Steeping bottles of ejuice

I have seen some of you guys mention steeping bottles that you've bought, is this necessary? It's just I bought 6 bottles of juice earlier in the week and tried them all immediately and they were all revolting bar one, is there a chance they'll taste better in a few days?

    Hope this makes sense.

    Really depends on the liquid.

    Fruit juices- not so much
Tobaccos- Most likely though not always
    Dessert/custards- always
    Sweets/menthols - rarely

What are the liquids out of curiosity?

    Thanks for the info.

    The liquids are:

    The best shop Texas
    The best shop red box
    P1 Wild West tobacco
    Hs impulse

And Diablo supernatural which I like.

I know they aren't the most expensive juices around but I was just trying to get an idea of ones I might like.

I would like to try manabush pow wow sauce but can't find it in stock in Ireland atm.

And I want to try five pawns castle long but can't find it.

I went for a kanger evod 2 just to bridge the gap before I can get to a bricks and mortar shop before splurging on something more.

Most pre-bottled juices [bottled well in advance of sale] don't require steeping, or not much at least. I found it was juices made to order really needed it [example: Mountbaker vapor juices, or even your own DIY mixes]

How you know they need steeping? Sometimes you just know by smelling them. If you're getting an off-scent, or a strong perfume/plastic type scent. Even if they smell ok they may still require some steeping. Try a tester, if the juice isn't ready, you'll get dry burns, no taste [or an off taste, nothing like the description] - the juice won't wick very well, causing the coils to burn rather than vaporize.

Give the bottles a good shake, open them up and let them air for a few hours in a cupboard, put the lids back on, another vigorous shake, re-open, let them breathe overnight [I put the caps loosely back on for overnight] - next day, tighten up, shake up again, let breathe ... leave a few hours, rinse, repeat ... this can take days or even weeks for some juices.

Chances are, your juices might just need a day or 2 of this.

I don't know that they need steeping I just saw a few chaps mention it on here about juices they'd bought. Perhaps the ones I got just don't suit me or like you said just need time to settle/acclimatise so to speak.

I've tried the impulse, I don't think steeping would help, was pretty awful

Few days? try a few weeks, even if you work it it still takes two weeks

Its really a matter of taste.
Steeping is good for all juices IMO, I usually buy a month in advance!
Sometimes I'll vape a juice right away, but even then I'll ask how long it was in the shop. Juices these days are usually pretty good IMO, its not often I find something so disgusting I can't vape it, sure there are some I don't like the taste of, or are unimpressed by, but thats the matter of taste again.
Basically if you buy cheap juice, you can usually bank on cheap experience.
That doesn't mean rushing out to buy a €28 bottle of Castle Long (which I have, its alright) but again, even cheapo juice benefits from just sitting there for a while IMO.
A good shake and leave the cap off in a press for a day or so, then leave the bottle capped and shake every now and then.

HS Impulse tastes like **** anyway. Like a damp ashtray from what I recall from trying it a number of years back. Steeping it would probably make it more so.

Very rarely have I ever come across juices that needed a few weeks.

Wicked juices from vaporpal nearly always need a few weeks for me, i had their old johnny blue juice for months and it was never right.

You could steep wicked juice for a million years and it still wouldn't be right tbf.

They don't sell that in Vapourpal either as far as I know.
