windows 10 pro - 5.1 speakers not working?

Just wondering if this is a compatibility issue? Using logitech speakers and dell audio realtek high def audio and when I test the speakers all works well but when playing music or youtube videos all I get is sound from side speakers L/R Any help appreciated.
