    Hi,

Not sure if this should be here or the Accountancy section.

I own a company and have a rented office, but I also have a home office solely for the company. Before Feb this year, there was only a home office.

Does anyone have any idea if the company should be paying a portion of the electricity and rent....or if should claim some of that which I pay personally, from the company as an expense?

    Thanks

You can claim a portion of the electricity, phone, gas, broadband but not the rent. Otherwise as the homeowner, you'd have to pay tax on the income.
