Im considering going back to college to do a level 6 direct entry course. I did a year of a level 7 course in 2009 but failed exams and never returned. In the meantime i received a fetac level 6 cert in 2011. Would holding a fetac level 6 affect my eligibility for a grant?

For the first year yes, after that no.
