I see Mcguirks are down in the Munster area for the next few days at different driving ranges doing fitting days

Has anyone been along to one and are they good?

I've been to two now with mixed results - went to a PING fitting at Kinsealy which was good and I bought A G30 off the back of.

Went to a Titleist one in Fingal golf centre which was fairly poor - both were free though so can't complain too much!

I was at one in Cork.

It was ok without being brilliant.

One part I was disappointed with. It was €60 for the fitting with €30 then taken off any purchase you make which is fair enough

But you also had to buy the balls yourself from the machine in the driving range. So before the fitting started I had to go and spend €6 in the ball dispensing machine

I thought after paying €60 for a fitting that balls should be included

That would turn me off anyway

I was at one and no I wouldn't recommend a waste of time actually. Like previous poster said uv to pay for ur own range balls and from what I saw unless ur after a driver not a whole of options to try and only standard stock options at that.
