So when i turn on my new rig, instead of getting the uefi bios i get a message
"Reboot and select proper boot device
or insert boot media in selected boot device and press key"

Is there a button on the mobo itself for entering uefi?
    mobo - ASrock z97 pro3

also, i have win7 downloaded onto a flash drive.

At the very start when you turn it on and the asrock logo comes up it should say press f2 or del or f12 to enter bios or select boot device. Need to be quick though especially if you have an ssd.

Edit: Quick google search suggests it's f2 for asrock so when you press power button mash f2 and you should get into it. I think it's f9 or f11 to just get to boot menu though which is all you need if you just want to boot from usb.

Isn't it just the usual, mash the ESC/F10/Del key on startup to enter the BIOS?
