Current laptop has a 320GB HD and that's plenty so 320-500 would be fine but maybe an SSD could be an option? Also currently have in i3 processor with 4GB RAM which is fine I'm sure. I can always upgrade RAM if needs be. Battery life makes no odds

I've an Acer at the moment and have had issues with the fan and overheating since the start so something reliable would be nice, though saying that I've had this about 5 years and it's still doing OK

Any help appriciated
