MK1 focus engine into a connect

can anyone advise if a 1.8 TDDI engine is the same 1.8 TDDI thats in the Connects? Like are they the same emgine and would the focus one be fit to be put into the connect? I have the focus engine already pulled it out of another car but just came across a Connect with a sized engine and i might buy if the engines are…

I have the focus engine already pulled it out of another car but just came across a Connect with a sized engine and i might buy if the engines are compatable
