    Is there such a thing in Ireland...thanks to tv I often hear of solicitors taking a case for free for hard up people.
    Or do some firms do a small bit on the side?

    There are many cases taken and clients reresented for free every day of the week all over Ireland.

    If it's a public interest case, get in touch with FLAC as their law centre runs a referral service.
