    Hi everyone,
Maybe someone here can advise the best way to remove old tile adhesive from an old bathroom wall. The tiles came off fine, but I need to remove the old adhesive now.
There will be no tiles going back up, possibly some plaster and a paint job.

    Thanks

What's the wall construction behind the tile adhesive? If it's just plasterboard, rip the section out and re-slab if you want a perfectly smooth finish.

You're looking at wasting many a long hour to get a poor finish that will need to be re-skimmed with a multitool.

and barring any of the above a lump hammer and bolster chisel and a lot of elbow grease are your only man :D

If you can replace the board that's the quickest option. if it's a solid wall you could give it a coat of Thistle bond and get it re plastered.
