I saw poor Patrick Nulty down at the po this morning drawing his dole, I think he is a decent guy how was treated very badly by the tabloid media and the "won't someone please think of the children" brigade.

'Nulty' is what I'd call a chocolate bar with nuts and caramel in it.

Yeah, and I mean what about Larry Murphy? Just a guy who was a bit lonely, but the whole feminazi brigade got all uppity and now won't leave him alone.

I dreamed I saw St. Augustine, alive as you or me. Tearing through these quarters in the utmost misery with a blanket underneath his arm and a coat of solid gold, searching for the very souls whom already have been sold.

An uncannily perfect and watertight comparison.

Should be some saltiness in there too, to reference the "lty" bit of Nulty.

Couldn't remember which particular dick this was

Wow he's 31! He looks at least 60.

Reading one of his quotes from a quality journo:
"I've made a mistake in [my] private life and I am taking personal responsibility for it,"
Isn't that all a load of bs, like when you're 5 or 6 maybe your mum and dad take responsibility for you but teens plus you're pretty much on your own.

Well that's what making inappropriate sexual overtones to underage girls as a member of parliament will get you.

I know we have a tradition of not resigning from public office for wrongdoing in this Country, but that shouldn't throw the position of Patrick Nulty into the wrong light, i.e. that he was very badly treated!

He gets credit for taking quick action to resign for his transgressions, but a serious transgression it still was, so if its the dole for him then so be it

I can't remember the 17 year old he was messaging, or weather he knew her age...

But a couple of new ones started in work last week, i'd have put 19-20 on them, 17 both of them...

Also another girl(client of the OH) looks mid 20's, only 16...Its scary how makup can make girls look like adults

    Wasn't the girl 17 which isn't underage?

Tbh, it was inappropriate and unprofessional and he deserves consequences but I don't see a need for it to be deemed some sort of unspeakable crime. Only difference between him a number of others is that he got caught.

I could get into pubs at 15 because of it.

Yeah 17 is the legal age at which someone can give consent.

He has scarring on his face from burns injuries when he was younger iirc

Is he any relation to Patrick Kenny?

Young or old, there was a complete imbalance in the relationship. People looked to him for help in his well paid role as a TD, they may have been vulnerable, he used that role in a completely inappropriate manner.

He deserves credit for resigning and I hope he's dealing with his issues. He doesn't deserve to be pilloried now, he did wrong, paid the price and should be left alone. But it shouldn't be whitewashed or put down to "feminazis" either.

On another note I saw a Star Ship Trooper flashing by in outer space.

He sent messages from Leinster House asking women if they'd ever been spanked, to send knickers to him, and for someone to wear a short skirt when visiting his constituency office

Age has very little to do with how inappropriate that is, imo

I saw Patrick Nulty in the local PO today collecting his dole. My heart goes out to the staff there who'll lose their jobs when everyone's dole payments get paid directly into bank accounts.

...he wasn't the first TD to attempt to ride around his constituency, nor probably the first to promise extra efforts in return (there is a certain politician about whom the line "give him the gee, and he'll give you the key" has been uttered, referring to social housing).

His problem was that he left written records, was incredibly blatent about it and he fairly creepy about it. The fact that the poor man is unattractive sadly made it appear even more lecherous.

I don't know if I would have gone all the way to resigning, and he should be given credit for doing so, but what he did was improper.
Even if all the women had been adults, it was improper.

He even asked one to send him underwear in the post ffs.

There's a couple of mods like that too.

"Ride or ban - take ya pick"

They ask for undercrackies attached to a pm though.

    I probably shouldn't say anymore ;)

    As did most of us...

...seriously this is not thread worthy. A mod should lock this thread. Leave the man alone now. Reports of his movements and his financial means are well out of order.

    Lads,

I don't know if any of ya know Patrick. His family are very well known around clonsilla and blanch. They drink in my local. No need to be gossiping he is entitled to the dole if he is not working.

Tbh I heard he has something lined up and is starting soon. I know him fairly well and his Da lord rest him used to coach me up at St Mochtas.

I spoke to him a while back. He is in great form. He knows he did wrong and apologised. He has put it all behind him. Last time I seen him he was in great form no hassle. A lot of people in blanch know there was more to what happened than meets the eye. I'm not gonna say it on here but dirty tricks were at play.

Anyway let the man get on with things we all **** up with a few drinks on board. He was actually a deadly worker for the area for a good while. Peace out.
