Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I've always had an interest in astronomy but it's only now that I have settled in Dublin that I can look at joining a club.

I googled Astronomy clubs but there seems to be a few of them covering Ireland as a whole, what I would like to join, if possible, is a local club.

I would appreciate the advice on this :D

    Hello rejkin,

There are two local clubs, the Irish Astronomical Society and the Dublin Stargazers group.

The stargazers group will be meeting at the sugarloaf on Sep 12th.

    Michael.

The IAS usually hold observation session's on the 1st Friday of each month, at the Martello Tower Car Park, Sandymount.

Keep a look out on their website for confirmation of events.
