I had a Garda arrive yesterday with a fine from a court in 2005 for traffic offence that I don't recall and didn't receive the summons for it. He said it wasn't followed up and was left in filing cabinet in Store st for 7 years and then on someone's desk in Leixlip until yesterday, should I pay this or what can I do. It's 1100 euro!

First, this has nothing to do with DRP.

Second, legal advice is banned sitewide, so consult a solicitor (and immediately too).

    Accordingly this is being closed.
