Screen Resolution: 1366x768 vs 1920x1080

Looking at buying a 15.6 Dell and noticed that for an another €106 I can get a 1920 screen instead of 1366. Is it worth the extra €106? I've always had 1366 laptops and never really found it deficient but in the course of researching this purchase I have noticed a lot of criticism of this resolution.

I don't do gaming and I'd watch films or series on the TV via USB. I would watch Player, YouTube stuff on the laptop though and between work and leisure would spend 5/6 hours a day looking at the screen. Would I find the on-screen text, icons etc a little small?

(the other differences are Win 8.1 instead of Win 10 and a better video card)

Yes, 1080p screens are noticeably clearer, especially for text & video files. It is worth the extra €100 for sure.

However, saying that, a lot of laptops released this year still have the 1366x768 res. so it mustn't be too much of an issue for people.
