    Am looking for a bit of assistance/guidance. Excluding fees and accommodation roughly how much per week will I need for college just to cover the basics such as food, travel, books etc... Are there are any useful budget calculators

    Noone knows how much you need but you. Like you could have to get the city bus everyday so travel expenses would go up, we don't know how much you eat. How can we know if you need books for your course? Load up excel and just make a budget in it

    Shop smart. Buy in bulk from the likes of Lidl and Aldi and freeze what you can. I'm not sure of your nutritional requirements, but you should realistically be able to make a €30 shop last 2 weeks.
