Tips For Washing White Synthetics

    Hi all, First world problem.

Dunno where to post this, hope it's OK here. Our kids have lots of white football stuff - generally polyester stuff like football shorts and shirts - and they get so manky that it's hard to get rid of all stains and marks completely, generally mud and grass but also food etc.

Was always under the impression you shouldn't wash them at too high a temperature so soak them beforehand and then wash at 30 which isn't bad but not great.

Also somebody has suggested always using biological instead of non-biological?

    Can anybody help?

I'd recommending soaking before hand in warm water with some washing powder and maybe some vanish or other oxygenated bleach product. Then washing around 30°C as if you shouldn't wash synthetics on high as far as I know. Always use biological washing powder its better for your clothes and will remove stains easier especially grass, blood, food stains etc. There was a poster a while back who knows a lot about this stuff and make a few long posts about bio vs non bio. It's really interesting I hope he comes on here.
