Looking for Accomodation near GMIT

    Hi Everyone,

    My younger brother got offered a course at GMIT. He will be going into 1st year but he can't get accommodation nearby. We've made lots of phone calls to landlords but all the places are taken. I would be really grateful if any former students or anyone has contact details of landlords that might still have places. My brother doesn't mind if he has to commute with the bus if the house is a bit far from GMIT. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Have you checked all the private student accommodation, there could still be places left and especially after round 2 offers.

    Thanks for the quick reply:) We just contacted all the places from your contacts and unfortunately their all booked out. I also knew it would be tough for a 1st year student to get accommodation in Galway but I never thought it would be this difficult considering were were as quick as we could possibly be after he received his offer.

    If your not from Galway then id suggest getting to Galway and getting the Advertiser accommodation list the day its out each week.
