B&W Zeppelin needing repair

I have a first gen B&W zeppelin ipod speaker, their 2007 model. This morning I started getting a red flashing light, which B&W website tells me means its pretty much bricked and needs a service.

I don't want the hassle and expense of shipping it to them for repair and would much rather bring it to someone. Could anyone recommend where I could get this fixed in Ireland? Preferably in the Dublin / Leinster area?

B&W don't repair the old Zeppelin' as they don't realise the spare parts , however you can contact them or their agent here and ask for an upgrade.
Basicly you give them the old one and pay a percentage of a out of abox RC Zeppelin Air which comes with a 2 years warranty rather than the 6 month's on a repair.

Hmm, are they likely to need proof of purchase on the old zeppelin then? Bought it years ago and moved house twice in the meantime, no longer have the receipt.

From what I remember no, just that it's there product and you are willing to agree to pay the exchange price.

Get in touch with Cloney Audio on Main St, Blackrock. They are the main dealers for B&W.
They will sort you out no problem.
