I have an interview for a science job in two days time however I have been teaching all maths for the last two years so am out of the loop with the new Science Syllabus. Are they allowed to ask me questions about it I wonder considering the industrial action but im sure they will.
Can anyone summarise the main changes to syllabus and assessment?

Ive googled it but cant seem to find exactly what im looking for or even an online copy of the syllabus

    Thanks

I've had a few interviews (not science) and have not been asked about the new junior cycle.

Information can be found here: http://www.juniorcycle.ie/Curriculum/Subjects/Science/Science

    Hope that helps.

The new JCT Science syllabus was deferred until 2016 & hasn't been finalised yet. Inquiry based learning will be a key part of it though.

At a recent interview I was asked about the key skills and how I would incorporate them into my science classes. They asked for a specific example of incorporating the hey skill 'being creative'. So perhaps something like that could come up for you.
