I've been trying to potty train my 3 year old daughter for the last 3 weeks but she's just having any of it...... She might go once a day in the toilet but that's it... it's accidents for the rest of the day! I have tried everything... from bringing her and sitting her on the toilet(She point blank refuses to sit on potty) every 10mins, reward charts and treats, reading stories while she sits on toilet, putting big girls underwear on, showing her how I go toilet! I don't know what else to try!!! She just fights me at every turn..... she just will not go and most times when I try to get her to go she just runs from me now..... My 2 boys were potty trained within 2 weeks! So I don't know what I'm doing wrong this time!!! Appreciate any help or advice????

Im in the same boat. Son will be 3 in November and wont poop on the loo. Have you tried pirate pete potty training book? I think they do a girls version too!

We waited till we felt our kids were ready rather than train them because of a certain age. The 3 of them were in or around 3 and a half, which is probably older than most but we thought it was better not to rush it.
Took about a week each time and was pretty painless. No issues thereafter thankfully.

If it is still an issue I would recommend to forget about it for a couple of weeks and try again then.

I also found once they are ready it is very little effort and they are really happy with themselves, rewards help too.

Ours wouldn't use the potty but only wanted to use the main toilet. Have you tried using a kids seat on the loo? Make it sound like she's a big girl now and can use the big toilet.
