Experience in the area of organisational psychology

    Hi all,

I have a degree and Msc. in Psychology and have a lot of experience in disability, mental health etc. My experience so far has really been geared towards clinical however I am seriously considering organisational Psych. As I have already completed an applied Masters which included a module in org psych, I am reluctant to embark on another unless I am certain it is the correct path for me.

Just wondering if anyone has any insight into ways I can gain some practical experience in the area? Ideally I would like to work in a role where I am working closely with organisational psychologists and can gain a better understanding of the role. I have been looking into recruitment/ hr roles, however given my lack of experience in the area I am not sure if I would be hired in these positions. I was wondering if anyone might know of any companies that employ O/I psychologists, that might also have suitable positions for some with my background?

I would really appreciate any advise. Thank you all in advance for your help.
    :)

There are a number of Organisational Psychology consultancies. Have you tried any of them? PSI might have a dividion of OP too, always a good place to start.

I've just started an MSc in Business and Management and will be specialising in HR, so am also interested in OB and trying to scope out the applications in the field.

I'll let you know if I come across anything!
