Dublin to Cairns 2016

    Hi All,
    We have decided to have a massive blow out holiday with both boys next year. its going to cost but feck it why not.

    Going from Dublin to Cairns with a 6 year old any advice? should we build in a stop over of a few hours or just fly out in one hit. he is a good traveler mind...

    Please post any help tips advice you have,

    I don't think its possible to fly direct to Cairns rom Dublin or London.

    You could stop off in Bangkok for a night.Do a quick tour of the city.Then you can fly direct to Cairns.

    There are a number of stop offs ie Thailand,Dubai etc. I would recommend stopping off somewhere for a night.It would give the kid time to get off the plane and stretch his legs and see another part of the world even if only for a part of a day.

    Cairns get VERY hot and humid so check temperatures for your planned time.Its tropical so can also rain a lot during certain times too.
