Govan Jolliffe Byrne RIP

On the ICU website that the Irish backpacker who passed away in Tanzania recently was Govan, who played for Portmarnock. The name is familiar, though I never played him. Bit more detail in the Indo. Very sad news. :(

Tragic loss to Irish Chess. I never played him but I've heard the name at tournaments.

My condolences to his friends and family.
