Laptop for viewing photos

Hello would anyone be able to tell me what specs to look for when choosing a laptop for viewing dslr photos, thanks

You don't need anything special to view photos so any laptop will do. However, processing images is a different matter as the like of Photoshop and LR are memory hungry.

Finding a laptop with a great screen is where the main trouble lies... RAM and processing power are relatively cheap these days.

For me the choice is which Macbook.

Thats way too broad a statement. Macbook Air is totally unsuitable.

Fair enough a MBP with retina display is a very good, but very expensive, option.

There are loads on adverts that would suit - http://touch.adverts.ie/laptops/dell-ultrabook-inspiron-14z-intel-core-i7-3517u-8gb-ddr3-250gb-ssd-hdd-windows-8/8417462 - for example would be ideal!!

If it's just for presentation (showing/viewing) - get a tablet - much more convenient in most cases.
