Hi, I am applying for financial assistance with my college, the assistance fund. They are looking for a p21 from me, i haven't worked since 2011. I remember ringing last year the revenue office and they told me because i havent worked the previous year I wouldnt have a p21. Is this the case? The college dont seem to accept me not having a p21.

Thanks for your help in advance.

The P21 is a review of your tax affairs for a particular year.

If you were not working, then you can't get a P21. The college would know this, and are most likely making you jump through hoops for no reason, other than to delay you.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I was thinking that I just wasn't sure, I will get back onto the college and inform them I wouldn't have a p21 due to not working the past few years.

    Thanks again.
