What part needs replacing- suspension?

    have a 2006 a4 diesel. I notice lately there is a sound of some part worn on the front side of the suspension. its a very weak noise but like similar to one a flat washer makes it hits the head of a bolt. will only make the slight noise on rough roads/bumps etc. what part does this sound like

    CV boot/joint ?

    Noise like i stick inside a barrel

    Anti roll bar drop link.

    If your replacing it, then make sure to do both sides and the roll bar bushings too.

    how would I check. take the wheel off and give them a good shake by hand to see if they are loose.

    just looked up youtube. looks easy to check anyway
