I see Lidl cycling gear is back in stock on the 24th August.

they are stocking the same sunglasses/video camera that they had last time. Anyone who picked it up last time care to "review" it?

are the glasses uncomfortably heavy? what are they like as shades? what is the picture quality like? Would you recommend?

In Irish weather they're abit pointless if not water resistant.

I got them last time and brought them back. They're awkward and the quality isn't great at all. I reverted to the Contour Roam2 myself but each to their own and all that!

    Would I recommend them? No

I made two sample videos last time. Here are the posts:

edit: The glasses weren't too bad by themselves. They got uncomfortable when I used the sports band (piece of rubber?) to hold them tight on my head. The band pulls the glasses against my nose and leaves a mark for a small while after cycling.

I got a pair of these during the summer. I am finding that they are switching themselves off about 30 minutes into a recording. othertimes they record only for about 2 seconds then stop.

Anyone know if there is a way to avoid this? I mean am i using them wrong or do i have a faulty pair? Can't find anything in the manual to address this.
