M50 Toll Penalty

Sorry if this is a bit long winded. Basically I owed for two tolls and two penalties. I paid one penalty because it was due and then my two tolls and left the other penalty. A few days later I got two penalty letters for the two tolls I thought I had paid.
Through email and a phone call with eflow they have told me that the payment I made that day was used to pay the two penalties rather than what I thought.
It does say when paying your toll "If you make a payment and you still have other outstanding unpaid tolls, your payment may be used to clear these unpaid tolls instead." But it also says "Only use this section to pay for journeys in advance, or journeys made TODAY or YESTERDAY. If you want to pay for a journey made prior to yesterday, please use the 'Pay a Penalty' option". But I did select pay a toll not a penalty and paid €6:20 the price of two tolls not the price of a penalty. Eflow accept this happened but see nothing wrong with this and in email and phone call just asked me how I would like to pay. I paid one as I should have owed 1 penalty but didn't pay the other.
I went to pay it the other night just not bothered emailing and phoning anymore but it has gone up to €47:10.
    Any advice appreciated.

You just have to remember to update your credit card and car reg if they change :)

Cheers. I'll try ringing them again and set up a video account but didn't get anywhere the last time I phoned.

Ring, keep it simple, say you you tried to pay the original toll online, but for some unknown reason it didn't go through. They may cancel or reduce the fine.

    Worked for me.

You'll get a letter if your card changes.

If you change your car, it's up to you to remember
