    Hi,

My mate is meeting the executors of his Uncles's will where he will now get the property etc..(he has turned 18). They have had control of it for the last 7 years. Question is. Is there questions he can ask them to ensure/check that they have complied with their obligations as executors. Just basic tips would be helpful.

    Many thanks

You friend will need his own solicitor for the transfer, who will do the checking...

    ok Tow,

Thanks for that... so he must engaae a solicitor now even before he meets the executor? Albeit that this executor is an extended family memeber. So better safe than sorry kind of thing?

    many thanks
