Anyone got any ideas on making a cheap effective sheep handling unit for small flock?

First one I had was made up of steel gates bought locally and got the fella to make me a stand for middle of the run, and gates for front and back. Worked out cheap enough as had other gates that made up to fit with it and used an old single axle car trailer to cart it around. Got many years of good use out of it and still have it and recently changed the gates to fit with my sheepeze. tbh only for numbers would still use it...

I'm not looking for anything fancy just one made of pallets and wooden gates (pictures would be useful if you had some)

Triangles! or something with sharp angles to help catching them
Make a big pen with a small pen at the angle
Big pen has to hold the biggest group of animals comfortably

I used to make pens like that when I started with sheep. I always had the use of a post driver and used to make the pens with stakes and sheep wire...you'd need stakes every five or six feet.
As you said. a big pen to gather them into and a small one to tighten them up for dosing.
Actually was using one of them today after beating the thistles down in it and replacing a few stakes....must be five years since it was used, had to dag some lambs, haven't had to do that in years either but the Llyens are very dirty this year, even freeing up the electric shears was a job
