    This is awful.David Walliams is really badly miscast and him and the actress playing his wife have zero chemistry.An awful lot has been spent on the whole look of the period but the script and performances let this down badly.

    I'm not a huge fan of Jessica Raine as it is, didn't like her in call the midwife either honestly, and this show does nothing for me.

    I really wanted to like it, but I couldn't make it past the first episode, it's awful.

    Ditto. David Walliams is not Tommy Beresford at all - he's very badly cast.

    she was good in the second series of In the Line of Fire
    She was defenestrated at the end of episode one
