I was looking at doing a tutor a family English /au pairing/ interning /general vol. In exchange for free food and board but most orgs charge an expensive fee is there any that don't or another way to set me up with this for next summer All replies are appreciated, thanks!

The EU sponsor a volunteering programme and pay volunteers a small allowance. It would not be with a family but you would get free food and board and a chance to improve your language skills and develop personally.

Talk to these people. They will also know about other opportunities.
