    Does anyone know what species of deer this is? Photo was taken in Killarney if that's any help.

    Sika deer are a ticking time bomb in Kerry. Cause great damage to oak woodslands and have the potential to hybridize with Red Deer. They should be removed.

    Huge numbers of Sika in west Cork. There are Hybrids here. They are bound to be in kerry too.

    No true red deer in Wicklow now as all are hybrids. They really need to be cleared out.
