Hi. When I packed up my 'good bike' a year ago I seem to have lost the bolt that connects the rear derailleur to the frame. Went to LBS and they said shimano and SRAM use different ones (I have sram).

Anyone know if this is the true and where I might get one?

I don't see how the bold has become undone , are you sure it's not the derailleur hanger that broke , maybe post a pic of it .
With regards to replacing it , surely the LBS you brought it to could have sorted it for you .

Thanks. 100% correct. Went to take a photo of it and discovered that the bolt is integrated into the derailleur. ......I obviously brain farted last year and convinced myself it was broken since. Anyway thanks for the reply.....no need to drag my commuter into wicklow anymore
