Looking for a place to stay in Portarlington that is in the town. Are there any bars or hotels that do accommodation in the town. The Heritage is too far out as we don't want to have to taxi. Would need 4 or 5 rooms to fit the group. Has the East End hotel closed down as can't seem to find details for it

East End is closed. I think the Pint o' Port does accommodation.

i think it may just do bed, rather than B+B

treascon lodge is about 10 minutes by car outside of town, it does B+B

Yes its just bed but you can always get roll in Maxol across the road. We'd had friends stay there before and have never said a bad word about it !
