To sum this up nice and easy.

    >Messed up on all my CA's for maths due to sickness
    >I needed to get about 52 percent in my summer exam to get a 40 percent for my total grade and a pass mark
    >I ended up getting about 25 percent for my total grade (so not too sure what I got in the summer exam but I still failed

What I need to know is do I just need to get 40 percent in my repeat exam for a pass grade or is the continous assesment still counted and I need to get 52 percent in the repeat to just get a passing grade?

As far as i know repeat exams are out of 100% and CAs do not count.

Your best bet is to email the lecturer and ask. Every module is different, and no one here is going to know for sure.
