    Hi,

Just got a letter to attend a group session. I am not too long on JSA. Can anyone tell me what happens at these group meetings? Do they help you get a job or give you advise or what is it all about?

    Cheers TIA

    Got this yesterday.

Rang them up to see could they take me off as I'm going back to college in 3 weeks(switching from L7 to L8 so have to reapply for BTEA) and she said id be best advised to go along.

I had to go before when I was starting college and sit for an hour hearing how I should go to college etc when I was already going.

I then told the woman after and was STILL given a 1 to 1 appointment for 9am which lasted 30seconds(once I told him my story he sent me on).

My understanding from the call was you can get away with non attending once, anyone confirm?.
I'd be back in college in 3 weeks so wouldn't be enough time to get called again.
The letter mentions "without good cause" or to that effect but its hard to tell would " college attendee" cover that or is it more "at a family members funeral".

Hi, just wondering ive an appointment for a 1to1 meeting. anyone know are they strict about rescheduling these or would they need a good excuse to reschedule?

You would need a good excuse. Hospital appointment, interview and proof may be asked for.
