Lets say i was studying for a Masters which the government will not fund on BTEA or SUSI while the wife was unemployed on JSA. Therefore i would have 0 income with 2 young kids.

Could i go down as an adult dependant on her JSA payment so she can get and extra 128 or so? In effect she would get payments for 2 adults and 2 kids.

I cant see any mention of being excluded due to being in full time education on the relevant website.

Are we speculating here,if not get your wife to claim and let the dept decide. The only problem I can see is that the main claimant(wife)must be available for work and may be asked to show that child care is in place.

Yes you are right. Your wife can claim for you and the kids and you can attend college. Mp22 is right she must be available for work.
